The up to 2% rebate does not apply to pre-owned homes.

The 2% rebate applies to new construction (homes, townhomes, lofts, condos, etc.) all over the state of Texas!

You must register with Citihomes Realty as your agent with the builder BEFORE signing a contract.

You are not eligible for this program if you have entered into a Buyer’s Representation Contract with another Realtor.

Your rebate is up to 2% of the sales price of the new construction home you purchase. In the event that the commission to the agent is less than the standard 3%, the rebate would be pro-rated to 2/3 of the received commission. The buyer is responsible for paying taxes on the rebate received.

The rebate is based on the base price of the new construction home purchase, which does not include lot premiums, upgrades and options. Under certain circumstances, when the base price is less than the selling price, the rebate will then be based on the amount used by the builder for purposes of the commission to the agent.  Any bonus paid by the homebuilder (outside the 3% commission) to the selling agent is not part of the rebate.
